Accounts Assistant

Responsibilities
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain petty cash accounts.
  • Issue garden tour tickets to hotel visitors, providing exceptional customer service and enhancing their overall experience.
  • Collaborate with various departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
  • Assist with store handling and par stock maintenance, utilizing the inventory control system (BUSY).
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and forecasts as needed.
Prerequisites
  • Possess at least two years of experience in a similar capacity in a reputed hotel.
  • Should be able to provide top-notch service, even under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in purchasing, maintaining quality, and negotiating prices with suppliers.
  • Strong communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
  • Residing in and around Bentota will be an added advantage.
