Remote valleys of tea, golden beaches, historic gardens, and dramatic mountains - the highlights of an unforgettable holiday in Sri Lanka
Rooted in a commitment to the preservation of natural resources, restoration of historic buildings, and timeless style, we are passionate about transforming heritage landmarks into exclusive and refined havens.
From centuries-old architectural gems in the form of grand homes to humble tea planter’s bungalows, every detail is lovingly preserved, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the grandeur of the past while enjoying contemporary comforts. By breathing new life into historic buildings and celebrating their cultural heritage, we strive to create timeless spaces where history and elegance converge to redefine the art of luxury hospitality.

FORT BAZAAR
Forgotten and neglected since the 1950s, it took over nine years of careful planning for the dream of restoring this derelict 17th century merchant’s house to become a reality.
The complex renovation included restoring original Dutch arches, extending roofs, and repurposing roof rafters as well as the addition of new bedrooms, a restaurant, and a spa.

NINE SKIES
Upon visiting in 2013, we immediately fell in love with the location and character of the property. Originally a plantation manager’s bungalow from the 1930s, the overall structure of the building remains the same.
The restoration which began in 2018 involved adding French windows and bathtubs in every room, an infinity swimming pool, a pergola on the front lawn as well as the modern comforts of a boutique hotel.

GOATFELL
Goatfell’s restoration, which began in 2017, was one of our most challenging. The team flipped the driveway from the front of the bungalow to the back, to reveal an atmospheric garden, infinity pool, and awe-inspiring vistas when entering.
The restoration of the entire bungalow was managed without having to cut a single tree.
