INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

At Teardrop, we see International Women’s Day as an opportunity to celebrate the remarkable women across our organisation. In 2023, we marked the occasion with an inspiring talk by mountaineer and women’s rights advocate Jayanthi Kuru-Utumpala—the first Sri Lankan to summit Mount Everest—followed by light games and high tea at Teardrop Island’s HQ. In 2024, the celebrations continued with sweet treats and thoughtful gifts, as the ladies were surprised with cupcakes and customised mugs. This year, in 2025, we turned the focus to wellness, treating our team to a relaxing pedicure spa date as a token of appreciation for their strength, spirit, and everyday contributions.
