Goatfell aims to seamlessly integrate sustainability into every aspect of our operations
At Goatfell, our guests can enjoy farm-to-table dishes through ingredients sourced from the bungalow’s home gardens. The produce is grown on pesticide-free soil.
Restoration & Transformation
Goatfell was lovingly restored from a centuries-old planter’s bungalow.
Homegrown & Plastic-free
We grow most of our vegetables and buy meat and seafood from the local markets.
Supporting our Community
We support the communities in which we are based through various community service projects.
Like each of our sister properties, Goatfell practises a zero plastic approach, and waste management through on-site composting and recycling initiatives. We conduct regular cleanups of public spaces, tree planting programs to mitigate soil erosion and encourage our guests to explore the hill country while adhering to strict leave-no-trace principles.
Our partnership with Travelife (an internationally recognised sustainability certification programme) enables us to monitor our resources and identify challenges across solid waste management, water and energy consumption, as well as social and cultural management. We’re proud to have been awarded the Travelife Gold Certificate for accommodation sustainability at each of our hotels.
