Our goal is to integrate sustainability across our value chain, work towards reducing our environmental impact, and source responsibly
Fort Bazaar’s community engagement projects include free medical camps, blood donation drives, soft skill workshops for youth and uplifting orphanages through donations and sprucing up their home.
Restoration & Transformation
Fort Bazaar was stylishly restored from a colonial merchant’s home.
Homegrown & Plastic-free
We grow most of our vegetables and buy meat and seafood from the local markets.
Supporting our Community
We support the communities in which we are based through various community service projects.
Like each of our sister properties, Fort Bazaar practises a zero plastic approach, and waste management through recycling initiatives. The hotel also practises responsible procurement by sourcing fresh produce directly from local fishermen and farmers.
Our partnership with Travelife (an internationally recognised sustainability certification programme) enables us to robustly monitor our resources and identify challenges across solid waste management, water and energy consumption, as well as social and cultural management.
