Church Street Social is Galle Fort’s most vibrant restaurant, open to both in-house guests and walk-ins with a convivial, atmospheric vibe. The setting is contemporary with Moorish floor tiles, arched doorways, ambient jazz music and lofty ceilings with fans to keep it breezy.

Menus include Sri Lankan, Southeast Asian, and European flavours incorporating fresh seafood found in the waters encompassing the fort. First-timers should try the Sri Lankan black pork curry, a local favourite where tender cubes of succulent pork are flavoured with black pepper and island spices.

On sunny days, dine al fresco in the courtyard or enjoy our signature sundown ‘arrack attack’ cocktails on the veranda, overlooking the cobble-stoned streets of the Fort.
