With artful interiors and distinctive design touches, the Court Square Studio is a private, split-level suite steeped in history, dating back to the 1600s.

Located along a line of historic lawyers’ chambers, 150 meters away from Fort Bazaar, the Court Square Studio is a stylish and private abode in the heart of Galle Fort. Once a barrister’s office, the space was reimagined to evoke a glamorous yet artistic vibe for active couples on the move. The interiors feature bold local art, a skylight above the loft styled bedroom, and a striking rattan lampshade that drops from the loft to the ground floor living room.

The bedroom consists of a king-size bed with built-in luggage space, air conditioning, and an ensuite rain shower. Downstairs is a beautifully proportioned open-plan pantry, dining, and living space, which opens onto a private terrace with teak lounge chairs to soak up views of the Fort. Guests also have access to Fort Bazaar just minutes away, for meals, cocktails, and complimentary use of the swimming pool.
