Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the kitchen including operational, quality, and administration functions.
  • Closely work with the Head of the Kitchen department to implement menus for both guests and staff, costing, and minimizing food wastage.
  • Manage and train the kitchen staff.
  • Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards.
Prerequisites
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a fine dining establishment.
  • Proven expertise in both Sri Lankan and Western cuisine.
  • Strong culinary knowledge and a passion for quality food preparation.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent communication and team management abilities.
  • High attention to detail, organization, and commitment to maintaining kitchen standards.
