DAY 1 - 3
Wallawwa | 2 nights
Highlights

Day 1 – On arrival at Colombo airport, you’ll transfer to Wallawwa and check into a Family Suite, which features a double room with a connecting twin, on bed and breakfast basis for two nights. The afternoon is yours at leisure, with tea and cookies served at the veranda. In the evening, enjoy ‘Social Hour’ with complimentary drinks.

Day 2 – Spend a relaxing day enjoying our gardens and pool. You might like to take an early morning visit to the Negombo fish market. The afternoon is free to relax and you have the option of taking part in a Sri Lankan cooking class for the whole family, with our resident chef, followed by dinner.

DAY 3 - 6
Camellia Hills | 3 nights
Highlights

Day 3 – Today after breakfast, transfer from Wallawwa to Camellia Hills in Dickoya, either by private car or a faster domestic air transfer (optional).

Check into a Dickoya Suite (Double with Trundle Bed) for three nights on all-inclusive basis. The entire afternoon is yours to relax.

Day 4 – Start the day with a private lake ride on a fisherman’s canoe which the kids will love, followed by an easy day at the bungalow.

In the late afternoon, embark on a short hike to enjoy sundowners at our secret viewpoint.

Day 5 – Begin the day with a guided visit to the ‘Tea Leaf Centre’ to learn the stories behind Ceylon tea. The afternoon is free for relaxation.

In the evening after dinner, our resident naturalist will take you on a late-night wilderness walk.

DAY 6 - 8
Nine Skies | 2 nights
Highlights

Day 6 – Today after breakfast, you’ll be driven from Camellia Hills to the Hatton Railway Station for a train journey to Ella, followed by a short drive to Nine Skies. Check into the Ella Rock Suite for two nights on all-inclusive basis and enjoy the rest of the afternoon by the pool. Dinner time is a treat, featuring a favourite local street food.

Day 7 – The day begins with a guided trek to Little Adam’s Peak, followed by a visit to the Nine Arch Bridge. Spend an easy day at the bungalow or opt for an adventure at the Flying Ravana Adventure Centre, which offers zip lining and archery among many other experiences for the family.

Day 8 - 11
Fort Bazaar | 3 nights
Highlights

Day 8 – Transfer from Nine Skies to Fort Bazaar in Galle, with a stop at the Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home which rehabilitates injured or abandoned wild baby elephants. Check into the Upper Family Suite at Fort Bazaar for three nights on bed and breakfast basis. Enjoy afternoon tea and a ‘Social Hour’ with complimentary drinks.

Day 9 – Today is an eventful day which the kids will love, and includes a guided cycling trail through paddy fields, a visit to the Yatagala Rock Temple, and a UNESCO Galle Fort Treasure Hunt.

Day 10 – Plenty of time to relax today, with an optional whale and dolphin watching cruise in the morning. Later in the day we have booked you and the kids in for a traditional mask carving and painting session with a local artist.

Day 11 - 15
Kumu Beach | 4 nights
Highlights

Day 11 & 12 – Transfer to Kumu Beach in Balapitiya, with a visit to a sea turtle conservatory en route. Check into the Oceanview Suite for four nights on bed and breakfast basis. While the kids enjoy plenty of time by the beach or the swimming pool, parents might like to schedule in a well deserved massage at the spa.

Day 13 – Lots more leisure time by the sea, and a guided visit to a traditional Southern puppet museum.

Day 14 – Your final day by the beach, with afternoon tea, ‘Social Hour,’ and a special BBQ by the beach, weather permitting.

On Day 15 – transfer to Colombo Airport, ensuring arrival at least three hours before your departure flight.
