Scuba Diving with Pearl Divers
Pearl Divers – also known as the ‘Dive Centre’ – is located near Unawatuna Beach and runs scuba diving tours from November to April. This Sri Lankan owned dive school offers a range of programs for beginners and certified divers, kids and adults, and even daytime and night-time dives. Sumith is the owner and manager of the centre and has over 22 years of experience with a dive certification from Germany. The dive lasts for 45 minutes and is under direct supervision of a PADI professional. If you are certified, you can pick your dive site based on its depth and the number of metres you are accredited to dive. The Dive Centre can also provide certification for anyone who wishes to get certified. In addition, there are a range of Open Water courses, EFR, and Divemaster courses available upon request. Other water sports offered at the Dive Centre include snorkelling, kayaking, fishing, boat tours with glass bottoms, whale watching, jet skis, and water-skiing. Private boat rentals can also be arranged. Prices include all equipment required, refreshments, insurance, and a dive professional as an attendant.
