Responsibilities
  • Oversee the kitchen operations, ensuring consistent high standards in food preparation and presentation.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop new menu items and seasonal specials.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise junior kitchen staff while fostering a positive and efficient working environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels, ensure proper stock rotation, and assist with ordering supplies.
  • Uphold kitchen safety protocols, sanitation regulations and food safety standards at all times.
Prerequisites
  • Previous experience in a similar capacity.
  • Diploma in culinary from a recognized Hotel School is required.
  • Proficiency in Sri Lankan & Western cuisines, emphasizing presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly yet professional attitude that is customer-focused.
  • Residing in and around Balapitiya will be an added advantage,
